Alterations Obliterations
June 17 - 29, 2017
We are the sum of our body parts, some functions more important than the others, but some more valuable to give life or at the least give meaning to life.
The hand for instance, defines its owner through gestures and touch. How and what we use them for embodies our function as social creatures. We react, interact and communicate through our hands in more powerful ways than with words. It is not the function of the hands that makes them exceptional, but the purpose it serves founded on our directives. These hands are tools. Create. Destroy.
