Joseph Pasqual | "Over And Over"
Josep Pascual find solace and purpose in repetition. He thoroughly revels in the process of his art making - the act of "doing it over and over" until he is able to fulfill his intentions on the canvas with intuitive and lyrical lines and shapes.
A graduate of Fine-Arts from the University of the East Caloocan. Pascual cities John Hoyland, Mark Rothko, Cy Thombly, Jackson Pollock, Jose Joya, and Bernardo Pacquing as his influences. His style evolved from a series of trial and errors, but he remains faithful to abstractions, which series as platform where he can mirror his personality and emotions.
